May 2025 Newsletter— Endurance!

Endurance is a word that is a rare find among people. Character is built on endurance and patience. The two traits go hand in hand. We have been more focused on fleeting momentary feelings that have no root in our development as humans. Is this why even the attention span of the newer generation has been cut short? It's a dangerous thing to imagine, yet social media and television are making their money based entirely on that; we are no longer looking into the long-term implications but are more focused on short-term fixes in society. This fundamentally weakens us as a society, and that is why we need to correct our course sooner rather than later. Short-term fixes and bandages never heal the deeper cracks in a person's soul. Unfortunately, society has kept everyone running on a hamster wheel, where there is no time to stop and make corrections but rather to cajole the situation into submission for the moment.
Where are we going from here? Honestly, I do not know, but if you are listening, don't just put a bandage on a situation that needs surgery—make corrections before catastrophe strikes. Ignoring the situation does not make it go away!
