Sprouted moong dal salad

Ingredients::

  1. 2 cups of organic moong dal—soaked overnight, then wrapped in moist cheese cloth and allowed to spout for 2 days in a dry area with sun exposure

  2. 1 teaspoon dry organic red chili flakes

  3. ½ teaspoon organic black mustard seeds

  4. 1 teaspoon organic olive oil

  5. ¼ teaspoon organic turmeric powder               

  6. 1 cup organic snap peas—washed and ready to use

  7. Salt to taste


Directions:

  • On a large flat griddle, add the oil, mustard seeds, and red chili flakes and sauté with the snap peas.

  • Add the sprouted moong dhal, turmeric, and salt, and sauté for an additional 5 minutes.

  • Serve warm
